Today there is no functionality implemented to delete old credit check results and reports. This is correct insofar as a customer must still be able to provide proof of the checks at a later date.
However, this does not apply indefinitely, and especially in cases where a large number of audits are conducted, it may make sense to be able to delete the audits once the legal retention period has expired.
One solution could be to integrate the credit check reports into the existing Microsoft Business Standard Retention Policy.
Deletion could then be carried out later through that policy.
The benefit of this approach is that the checks and reports do not require too much storage space (only in cases involving very large numbers), they remain well-organized, and a standard-compliant method for deletion is established.
